The FBI warns against cryptocurrency exploiters on the principle of «play and earn»

The FBI has warned fraudsters trying to steal cryptocurrency in the popular sector of the cryptocurrency industry, Play and Earn (P2E).
A few days ago, the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation issued a warning to the cryptocurrency industry and cryptocurrency investors. The FBI warning made statements against criminals who create fake gaming apps to steal millions of dollars in cryptocurrency.
Play to Earn (P2E) is one of the most popular cryptocurrency trends of recent times, which is gradually losing its influence due to many problems. The most significant of these events is the banning of the STEPN project (GMT) in the Chinese market.
P2E, which experienced rapid growth and then a massive collapse, became one of the methods often used in scams. Many fraudsters claimed that they were participating in a fake P2E game, thereby stealing millions of dollars in assets from unregistered investors.
In response, the FBI described the criminals' P2E application as a game that offered financial rewards to players. The statement also mentioned that the criminals used the financial incentives offered by the game to steal their victims' assets.
The FBI wants investors to be protected and take precautions by requiring that such criminals be reported to them in the event of such fraud.
