hiAave launches a "rescue mission" for lost tokens
DeFi platform Aave will launch the first phase of a "rescue mission" to rescue lost tokens sent to faulty smart contracts. The proposal received 100 per cent support.
In the first stage, such assets will be extracted from the contracts of AAVE, LEND and stkAAVE. In addition to these coins, this stage will also affect blocked UNI and USDT.
Almost all of the "saved" tokens are 29,188 AAVE with a total value of $2.16 million. The total amount of the tokens is $2.16 million.
The frozen assets were excluded from the first phase and two subsequent phases of recovery:
- assets in smart contracts worth less than $500 - making changes for them is uneconomical.
- from centralized exchanges - such users are not end users in terms of trade.
Unlocked funds will be sent to a smart distributor contract, to which the owner of the affected wallet can request a refund.
