Those who have been living in this world for a few years should already know this. Memes are an integral part of this world, and we're not likely to get rid of them. They're not serious, it's true, but they're nonetheless more interesting than many projects that purport to save the world but end up worse than projects born for laughs and nothing more.

Pepe $PEPE

This is the novelty of today, after its incredible boom. There are no big ambitions behind it, except that after a while it will sell goods and be listed on the major exchanges.
Quoting on exchanges: Since no one wants commissions, several exchanges have already decided to list the token. Among them are reputable exchanges such as Huobi and Gate.io. Of course, Poloniex could not miss this event, as well as Bitget and MEXC. What should we learn from these quotes? That they mean nothing in terms of reliability and perspective. The exchanges want to let you buy and sell cryptocurrency in exchange for commissions. And nothing more.
Where will it end? No one knows. The ups and downs in the price of this new token meme are incredible, and we don't expect anything different.

It got a huge boost almost at the same time as $PEPE, but it was unlucky. It started losing value earlier and faster, but we know it can turn around. In fact, meme tokens have a way of always refuting those who wish them dead, and coming back when solo analysts (like the author) least expect it.
Risk: Even higher. This is not the kind of investment that will make you rich: you're likely to be left holding the bag, even though tips, analysis and other types of content appear that make you want to buy them. The same is true for Pepe. The risks are huge and not worth it, unless we are fans of slot machines that the owner can turn off whenever he or she wants.
Where to buy? Several exchanges have moved here as well. We can find it at Gate.io, as well as Bitget and MEXC. The range is smaller than on Pepe, but so be it. There is also an option to buy and sell it through Uniswap.

Shiba Inu Coin

It wouldn't even be fair to associate Shiba Inu Coin with this type of activity, since at least this group has managed to add fuel to the fire in recent months and now runs both L2 and the upcoming metaverse.
Why did we include it here? Because tweets from one of the ecosystem's public speaking executives indicate Hollywood's interest. It's unclear how much of this is hype and how much is reality, which will become known over time. The fact remains that the project will certainly keep us company for a long time to come, despite a bad day that affected the entire industry, not just meme tokens.

Dogecoin

The ancestor of the meme group was a famous dog enjoying some sort of well-deserved rest after his Twitter ride. Many expect a speedy recovery, but as always, it's very hard to guess what's going to happen around here.

No matter how the latest and newest generation of tokens appear on the major cryptocurrency markets (i.e., centralized exchanges), you should continue to view them as a dangerous pastime that will make a fortune for some, and turn into a significant loss for others.
